Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to contribute to our growth in the industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating new leads, investigating job boards, and uncovering new business prospects. A solid background in sales, particularly with US or Canadian firms, and proficiency in Hubspot is required. This role necessitates in-office attendance at least three times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new leads within the vacation rental management sector.
  • Proactively search job boards and other platforms to discover and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their requirements and how our offerings can fulfill them.
  • Utilize Hubspot for effective lead management and tracking, ensuring thorough follow-up and pipeline oversight.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to devise strategies for lead generation and business expansion.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor movements to pinpoint new business avenues.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales or business development capacity, ideally within the vacation rental or related sectors.
  • Experience with US or Canadian companies is crucial.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven success in achieving sales-related KPIs and lead generation targets.
  • B2B sales experience is essential.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with CRM tools is necessary.
  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Must reside in Medellín, Colombia, and be prepared to work from the office at least three times a week.
