The **Sales Associate** will be responsible for performing various sales duties including lead management, quoting, customer follow-up, closing orders and sales operations in support of assigned market segments. This position develops proficiency with the Verasonics quote process, manages assigned prospective business to closure, and performs business analysis as assigned.
**The Sales Associate will be responsible for the following**:
- Provides sales management support for the VP of Sales and remote sales directors/managers/distributors which includes:
- Generating new quotations and updating previous quotations as required.
- Following up on prospective business to provide accurate forecast to operations.
- Uploading all relevant documentation for sales orders.
- Following sales orders through the process from order to shipment.
- Managing and responding to leads from websites, social media, shows and other sources.
- Responding to customer requests for pricing, quotations, etc.
- Solicit accurate and timely technical information and support from the Ultrasound Science Group- Assists with all open-market Tenders and similar sales processes.
- Maintain the Salesforce database.
- Keeps leadership informed of key issues impacting project completion, budget, customer relationships, or other results.
**Who you are**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
- At least 2 years experience in a highly technical industry and direct customer experience required, medical device experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Committed to business goals
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong customer service orientation
- Driven to achieve assigned goals efficiently and make recommendations to other team members
- Strong time-management skills with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Advanced skills in Salesforce and MS Office Suite; Expert level in Excel and Outlook
- Possess current passport for occasional travel to US headquarters
