**About the job**
Partners are critical to our overall success and go to market strategy. The SAS Channel Division is currently hiring a Channel Account Manager for Spanish-Speaking Latam with experience managing channel business relationships and processes to drive sales of SAS products and solutions. The channel account manager is a quota-carrying, revenue-producing role that is responsible for fostering and managing mutually beneficial relationships with a defined portfolio of partners.
**As a Channel Account Manager, you will**:
- Identify and onboard new channel partners, including resellers and transacting through a distributor.
- Meet revenue targets by developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing channel partners.
- Engage and manage SAS resources in support of partnership objectives and sales opportunities such as direct sales, channel marketing, customer advisory and line of business representatives.
- Drive weekly, monthly and quarterly partner alignment sessions to review pipelines, develop account penetration strategies to build pipeline and increase closing ratios.
- Work with assigned partners to develop an annual joint business plan that defines strategies and activities to meet revenue goals; identifying and resolving partner performance and participation issues before they impact our market performance.
- Work with partners and marketing resources to execute partner marketing plans to drive demand in support of revenue targets.
- Maintaining partner competence through training and certifications and be a channel advocate and business advisor to partners
**Required qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience as a Channel Account Manager or in a similar sales role
- Deep understanding of modern sales techniques, channel sales and partner relationship management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and negotiating effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
**Preferred qualifications**
- Selling skills, sales and marketing strategy development
- Experienced in developing actionable joint business plans.
- Seasoned at presenting at the CxO level.
- Ability to build strong relationships and managing through influence.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and execution with the ability to forecast, manage business performance and results
- Ability to foster collaboration and build rapport and influence in a matrixed environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish/English)
