Your TasksA Key Account Manager Direct Trade for BEIERSDORF (f/m/d) will take over responsibility for our direct customers (Cencosud, Grupo Exito other banners, D1 and Dollarcity) in close cooperation with their Customer Directors. Develop a strategy for the client that drives aggressive medium and long-term growth, as well as the management of daily account business to promote short-term profitable and sustainable growth. Additionally, plan for continuous long-term development by developing Beiersdorf brands within the client's business to gain market share, covering the entire process of coding, launch support, displays, and problem-solving to ensure that the brands are displayed and accessible to consumers. Together with field sales team, they will work on optimally staging our products in retail for consumers and thus seizing growth potential for both Beiersdorf and the retail partner. Execution and Distribution are key pillars to ensure our targets in the different Retail Environments.
- Working closely in a multifunctional Sales Team and with different stakeholders, such as S&CM Indirect Manager, Brand Managers, Controlling and Supply Chain
- Building and maintaining relationships with decision makers customers independently
- Formulating and implementing the Direct Channel strategy as well as concrete initiatives to develop customers
- Realizing revenue, market share and profitability targets, with focus on maximizing sales in Cencosud, Grupo Exito other banners, D1 and Dollarcity
- Listing business drivers, distribution, Active accounts, coverage distribution, drop size handouts, and secondary placement
- Executing national and customer-specific marketing activities on- and offline
- Preparing and executing customer meetings and annual meetings together with their Top Customers
- Ensure implementation of EM Workstreams (MSL/Trax, Picos/DMS)
- Handling strategic sales topics in project teams
- Bachelor's or master's degree with at least 5 years of professional experience in Sales/Marketing/Shopper and Category Management or in comparable functions
- Strong affinity for conceptual work and negotiation skills
- Assertiveness and self-confident appearance
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Practical experience in negotiation and discussion techniques
- Previous experience managing the following Customers: Grupo Exito, Cencosud
