About this position
Assorment Spsce Optimisation is a division of the Nielsen Company who specialize in assortment, space management and Category Management.

With dedicated teams and global coverage we help retailers and manufacturers to improve their ROI from their assortment and space practices.

This can be through using our leading industry software solutions such as the Assorment Space Optimitasion tool, Spaceman and my.

spaceman or through our Professional Services covering Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, Implementation and Educational

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility is identifying, targeting and closing new business opportunities for the range of Nielsen software solutions and Consultancy Services.
  • Besides this, you will own a client account portfolio and monitor the client satisfaction.
  • The Assorment Space Optimisation Specialist will participate in internal (international) projects as the expert on retailer/manufacturer cooperation, assortment recommendations and shelf presentation.
  • Reporting to the Solution leader, the Assorment Spece Optimisation Specialist is also responsible for the achievement of revenue targets, strategic planning, budgeting and international reporting of the department to the Regional Assorment Spece Optimitasion leader.

Qualifications:

  • A commercial drive with selfstarting and selfmotivating skills
  • Welldeveloped commercial skills (presenting / negotiating / communicating).
  • A minimum of bachelor (college) degree work
- and thinking level.

  • A background with work experience in Retail Management, Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales Management or experience at Nielsen or similar agency.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • An adequate level of (business) English
  • Experience with account management is an advantage.
  • Experience with assortment and space optimisation software (Nielsen or other) is an asset.
