Dow Packaging Specialties & Plastics is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist based in Bogotá. This role involves managing both existing and new customer relationships, promoting Dow products and solutions, and identifying fresh opportunities to meet customer needs. The focus is on expanding market share and seizing new business prospects within the product portfolio.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional sales and negotiation abilities to handle distribution relationships, understand market players, identify industry trends and customer demands, resulting in increased sales and profitability. They should inspire and motivate to achieve sales targets effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize account planning tools, margin management tools, and technology to develop and share account plans.
  • Set annual value-driven goals aligning with long-term business strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts and adapt to market shifts.
  • Identify and address customer problems to drive business opportunities and revenue.
  • Demonstrate sales excellence and meet set goals.
  • Display in-depth knowledge of Dow products and applications, analyzing customer needs and industry trends.
  • Engage in solution selling to various clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the customer experience.
  • Implement commercial tools effectively.
  • Maintain strong operational discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or relevant fields.
  • Experience in customer relations and business scenarios.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience managing complex customers.
  • Strong Business Acumen.
  • Effective interpersonal, networking, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
