This position reports toChannel Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional) in an effective manner to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel.
The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Bogotá, Colombia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise.

- You are immersed in business development with industry/end clients related projects. Low voltage products, industry 4.0 Colombian market knowledge in channel distribution networks.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in medium and low voltage products, technical and commercial offers and maintenance or operations during 3 to 4 years of experience.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of end customer development, demand generation, OEM channel support, low voltage ACB, MCB, MCCB, Industry 4.0 digitization.
- You are passionate about self-starter, leadership, collaborator, independence and creativity.
- Degree or student about to complete the degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical, related careers.
- You are at ease communicating in English at an intermediate level.
- You are available to travel 60% of the time
