How you will make an impact:

  • Being responsible for certification of the centers, physicians, and other related staff, as well as EW personnel and as outlined within EW SOPs.
  • Interacting with clinical and nonclinical stakeholders such as: HCP, KOL, proctors, nurses, staff, auditors, purchase and all other key personnel of hospitals and clinics.
  • Providing education on all aspects of the device, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants.
  • Developing and continuously improving training curriculum, training materials and training tools, based on clinical trial experience, EW guidelines and SOP.
  • Showing business Intelligence.
  • Educating and training physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to products and procedures through conducting and/or coordinating oneonone ad hoc training sessions and inservice structured education programs.
  • Throughout commercial procedures, providing physicians and medical staff with required followup support to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to all aspects of patient outcome.
  • Planning and implementing growth strategies and activities on the field within focused accounts in partnership with the Sales and Sales Management.
  • Being responsible for upselling in key strategic accounts working in conjunction with Business Managers.
  • Validating software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
  • Regularly reviewing clinical support activities, changes in the market and assigned accounts, as well as competitive activity with the NSM and the appropriate Sales Specialist.
  • Providing On site support: procedure assistance within own territory or if needed support outside own territory.
  • Scheduling, preparing, and coordinating assistance procedure through external support crimpers.
  • Coordinating proctorship assistance if needed and all logistics related.
  • Participating in internal meetings: preparing material, own territory and project update, any other information required.
  • Constructing monthly forecast in partnership with sales representatives.
  • Providing weekly updates during the weekly team calls.
  • Agenda territory planning: visits with manager and sales representatives to own territory.
  • Using and implementing marketing tools such as Showpad where studies are available, to drive high level conversations with the different stakeholders on the field.
  • Monthly expense reporting with no delays.
  • New accounts opening with the sales representative and presenting alternatives to ensure position on current clients and gain market share where is addressable.
  • Uploading into the system every implant performed under Edwards timeline.
  • Other incidental duties.

What you will need:

3 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience required.
Bachelor's degree in related field
Training experience in clinical / technical environment preferred.

  • Moderate knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science, cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology.
  • Moderate understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting.
