The Billing Team Manager will play a crucial role in our organization, overseeing all facets of the billing process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.

This individual will lead a team of accountants and support staff, providing direction, training, and mentorship to ensure the team meets and exceeds departmental goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire billing process, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and manage a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline the billing process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze billing data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as finance and customer service, to resolve billingrelated issues and ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Utilize collections experience to effectively manage outstanding accounts, minimize delinquencies, and improve cash flow.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce billing errors and minimize disputes with customers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to billing and collections, and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to provide insights into billing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the billing team, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in billing, accounting, or financial management, with a focus on leading teams and overseeing billing operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex billing data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and senior management.
  • Excellent command of English with exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to billing and collections.
  • Proactive problemsolving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experienced with Google Calendar, Google Meet, Acuity, and Gmail.
  • Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above & Microsoft Office) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Time Flexibility: Willing to work on Pacific Standard Time (CST) schedule.
