Extenteam is a leading professional services company based in the US, specializing in providing top-notch solutions to vacation rental management companies across the United States. Our goal is to help our clients maximize their property management efficiency and profitability through our comprehensive services. We currently support close to 200 different property management brands throughout the United States. Our team members work to supercharge guest services, reservations, marketing, bookkeeping, IT support, and other core business functions.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Medellín. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, exploring job boards, and identifying new business opportunities. This individual must have a proven track record in sales, experience working with US or Canadian companies, and proficiency in using Hubspot. This role requires in-office presence at least three times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads and identify potential business opportunities within the vacation rental management industry.
  • Actively explore job boards and other platforms to find and develop new leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and how our services can meet them.
  • Utilize Hubspot to manage and track leads, ensuring effective follow-up and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and business development.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and results to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the vacation rental or related industries.
  • Experience working with US or Canadian companies is essential.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of hitting sales related KPIs and lead generation activities and sales
  • B2B sales experience is required
  • Goal oriented mind-set
  • Experience using and implementing CRM tools
  • Analytical thinking ability to make evidence based decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Have a strong work ethic (integrity and commitment)
  • Proficiency in using Hubspot 
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must reside in Medellín, Colombia, and be willing to come into the Medellin office at least three times a week.
