Setting the Stage:
Be part of our client’s team as a Social Media Manager, where you’ll develop and implement digital strategies, create compelling content, and manage online communities. You’ll track performance metrics and optimize campaigns, ensuring increased engagement and follower growth while contributing to the company’s innovative presence in the retail tech industry.
Shift: MONDAY TO FRIDAY | 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM COL time.
Work Setup: Onsite, Bogota/Medellin
Commanding the Digital Stage: Responsibilities That Lead to Success
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to achieve business goals and enhance online visibility.
- Create and oversee social media content calendars to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
- Monitor industry trends, tools, and applications to optimize social media presence and content.
Content Creation & Management:
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce high-quality, engaging, and original content, including graphics, videos, and blogs.
- Write, edit, and proofread social media posts to ensure they are on-brand and resonate with the target audience.
- Manage the company’s social media accounts, including posting content, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports to management on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to refine and enhance social media strategies.
Community Management:
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and nurture relationships with key influencers and stakeholders in the industry.
- Foster a positive online community by encouraging user-generated content and managing potential issues or crises effectively.
Requirements
Tools of the Trade: Skills and Experience
- English Level: C1 - C2.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative content ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
