We are leaders in the roofing and solar industry, committed to excellence and fostering a positive work environment. We are seeking a certified MS O365 Engineer to assist with our Microsoft license migration, system setup, hardware reimaging, and ongoing IT support.

Position Overview:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and executing IT migration projects, focusing on Microsoft Office 365 and related technologies. This role includes license management, file system setup, email migration, hardware reimaging, and website management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT migrations, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

License Management:

  • Procure and transition new Microsoft licenses through resellers such as FiveNines or similar.
  • Procure and/or transition other licenses, such as Adobe.
  • Track and manage license types, inbox sizes, and hardware usage.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO).

File System Setup:

  • Develop a new file system mirroring the existing Shared Drive for continuity.
  • Assist users in transferring their files.

Email Migration:

  • Implement and troubleshoot email auto forwarding.
  • Archive and import emails as PST files for select users.
  • Use Microsofts best practices for migrating mailboxes across tenants.

Hardware Reimaging:

  • Reimage existing hardware with new configurations.
  • Remove existing management and anti-virus software, procure and install MRS management and anti-virus software.

Website Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance, updates, and overall management of the company's website.
  • Ensure the website is secure, user-friendly, and up-to-date with the latest information and technology.
  • Regularly update website content, including text, images, and multimedia.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate and relevant content is published.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues.
  • Manage website integrations with other systems and tools used by the company.

Post-Migration and Ongoing Support:

  • Provide ongoing helpdesk support for users.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, software provisioning, and system upgrades.
  • Handle typical IT tasks, including Azure, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Endpoint protection.
  • Document and implement IT policies following industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Certified MS O365 Engineer.
  • Proven experience in IT migration projects with Microsoft products.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, and Endpoint protection.
  • Strong file system management and software installation skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours.

Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office 365: Proficiency is mandatory for managing licenses and email migrations.
  • Anti-virus Software: Experience with installing and managing anti-virus software.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Ability to implement and manage SSO solutions.
