Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuration and Customization: Manage and tailor multiple Tableau Online environments to meet organizational needs.
  • User Management: Oversee Tableau user and group configurations, ensuring appropriate access levels.
  • Access Control: Maintain user accounts, roles, and security measures, including project content folder rights.
  • Data Management: Administer data catalogs and oversee data sources, ensuring effective data management practices.
  • Functional Support: Provide comprehensive support for user requirements and functional needs.
  • Compliance Reviews: Conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation regarding processes, policies, and application configurations.
  • Operational Requests: Manage operational inquiries and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • System Metrics: Track and analyze system metrics to identify trends in usage and data integrity.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to other BI tools and processes.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Tableau Administration and Development within an enterprise context.
  • Tableau Certifications are advantageous.
  • 2+ years of SQL experience, with a focus on writing queries and stored procedures.
  • Basic understanding of BI architecture and the ability to educate others on BI tools.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, database design, and data structures.
  • Experience with ETL/E-LT processes is beneficial.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
