Key Responsibilities:
- Database Development and Maintenance: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of database systems, including database schema, data modeling, and data migration.
- Database Administration: Provide administrative support for database systems, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving problems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of database systems.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in information technology, including at least 2 years of experience in database development, database manipulation tools, and using.NET tools and Integrated Development Environment tools.
- Certifications: Current certification in database administration, such as Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
- Language Skills: English language ability equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/2, S/1; Spanish language ability equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/3, S/3.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Colombian safety standards and procedures, as well as general maintenance of computer hardware, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office Suite.
