About the Role

We're looking for Patient Care Coordinators to join our team and play a vital role in supporting a U.S.-based healthcare client. As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for building meaningful connections, providing clear information, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from the first call to consultation reminders.

This is not cold calling — all leads are inbound, and patients are expecting your call. Your role is to combine empathy and professionalism with efficiency and structure, ensuring every patient feels supported while moving them seamlessly through the process.

Responsibilities

  • Speed to lead: Call incoming leads within 5 minutes of receiving notification.
  • Schedule patient consultations, ensuring insurance coverage and necessary details are explained.
  • Send personalized reminders (3 days and 1 day before appointments) to increase patient show-up rates.
  • Build rapport with patients through active listening, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Assign leads to the correct clinic location based on patient needs and geographic area.
  • Follow call scripts and internal processes, while making space for natural conversation and human connection.

Requirements

  • Advanced English & Spanish (mandatory).
  • Strong communication skills — positive energy, empathy, and professionalism over the phone.
  • Ability to work onsite in Medellín.
  • Comfort with structured processes, scripts, and CRM tools.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or call center roles is a plus, but not required.
