What will you do?

  • Plan routes and assign vehicles/drivers according to demand, priorities and operational constraints.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading; ensure compliance with delivery times (OTIF).
  • Oversee documentation compliance (BOL, waybills, manifests, customs documents if applicable).
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and rates with carriers and drayage/last-mile providers.
  • Monitor condition of units and fleet (preventive maintenance, technical reviews).
  • Resolve operational incidents (delays, claims, damages claims and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational indicators and prepare daily/weekly reports (on-time deliveries, costs, fleet utilisation).
  • Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, cargo transportation and internal policies.
  • Train and supervise operational staff related to transportation.
  • Manage relationships with key customers for reporting and logistics coordination.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Professional with a background in Logistics, Engineering, Administration, or related fields.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in land transportation or logistics operations, preferably with fleet management and drayage experience.
  • Knowledge: TMS (transportation management systems), MS Office (advanced Excel), transportation regulations, and cargo documentation.
  • Language: Fluent in Spanish; intermediate English is an asset, depending on international operation.
  • Experience in tariff negotiation and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with WMS, ERP (Oracle/SAP), or Power BI for reporting.
  • Experience in KPI management and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma basic).
