Sales Operations Specialist
Summary of the role:
The main purpose of this role is to increase Sales team efficiency by support Commercial and Contract Management activities functions in order to give support to the Sales and Account Management areas of the Airports and Borders team in the Americas.
Part of this role is to provide support in commercial management including contract renewals, and update process, managing the contract and customer SharePoint sites and coordinating with other stakeholders (legal, project controlling, account management, CSMs, etc.) and the client to ensure that the all agreements are up to date and compliant with Amadeus standards and meet the customer and contractual timelines.
In this role you'll:
- Be responsible for commercial management and oversight of the commercial cycle of a customer, tracking contracts, management of KPIs and reports, contract renewal process and agreement updates through coordination with legal, project controlling, account management, CSMs and client.
- Work closely with the Sales and Account Management team on mapping, implementation and tracking of commercial strategies including using systems tools used at AMADEUS (Salesforce, SharePoint and others) for commercial opportunity mapping, identification of proposing strategic targets, KPIs and metrics. Give support to the Account Management team data management related to contracts and related processes.
- Monitor KPIs and generate reports related to Contract Management
- Work closely with sales team, marketing, legal, and finance teams. Act as a advisor during customer negotiations on contractual terms.
- Track contract related performance indicators and identify areas for improvement. Provide insights and reports to senior leadership. Support business reviews and strategic decision-making as needed.
About the ideal candidate:
- Education: Major in Business Administration, Paralegal studies and/or Systems Technology degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years work experience in a similar position.
- Requires experience in Commercial Management, Sales Support, and/ or Legal support experience.
- Experience working with Airports, Airlines and/or Government Authorities is a plus
- Must be able to read/write/speak English. Spanish and/or Portuguese are a plus
- Understanding of the commercial process, tools and contract environment. The incumbent should be accountable and proactive result oriented and have a spirit to work as one team with your pairs.
- You have exceptional analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
- Expert level in MS office business applications
- Experience with Administrative Tasks in the Commercial Routine (differential)
- Experience with Air Transportation is a plus (airports, airlines or border authorities)
- Ability to travel within the AMERICAS region
- Must be able to work a hybrid working model role and work in the Bogota Amadeus office 50% of the time.
