**Job Description — Carrier Sales (Back Office)**
**Location**: Bogotá, Barranquilla, Medellín
**Department**: Carrier Sales / Logistics
**Work Mode**: (Onsite)
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday
**Contract Type**: Permanent (Indefinite Term)
**Salary Range**: 2,850,000 - 3,200,000 COP
**Role Summary**
The **Carrier Sales Specialist** is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with transportation carriers, negotiating rates, and securing capacity to support logistics operations. This back-office role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of logistics and sales processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Source, onboard, and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure consistent capacity.
- Negotiate rates and service conditions with carriers to meet operational and cost objectives.
- Support daily logistics operations by securing carriers for assigned loads.
- Maintain accurate carrier and rate information in internal systems (TMS/CRM).
- Collaborate closely with operations, dispatch, and track & trace teams.
- Monitor carrier performance and address service or compliance issues.
- Ensure all carrier documentation and compliance requirements are up to date.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within carrier sales operations.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma, technical, or technological studies in logistics, sales, business administration, or related fields.
- **Minimum 1 year of experience** in sales and/or logistics roles (preferred).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in digital tools and logistics or sales platforms.
- Basic to intermediate English level preferred.
