Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Global Services Payroll Compliance Senior Manager to join our Global Services Compliance team located in Bogota, Colombia.

As the Global Services Payroll Compliance Senior Manager, the individual will be responsible to provide strong leadership and oversight within the execution of compliance activities to ensure financial compliance is meeting standards across the globe. The individual will directly supervise 4 regional leaders. The role will also partner very closely with global and regional service delivery teams, GS and Business Unit Finance leadership, Global Audit & Assurance (GAA), Controllership, external auditors and various other compliance stakeholders. The candidate will report to and partner with the Senior Compliance Director in designing and executing the overall compliance strategy across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Effective Risk Management execution through minimization of financial and operational risks associated with the internal control environment within payroll, along with the assessment, design, and implementation of internal controls by providing recommendations for continuous process and control improvements.
  2. Managing audit support optimally through strong partnerships with business unit finance, internal audit team, and external auditors to ensure control standards are upheld. This includes coordination of internal and/or external audits and advising remediation efforts for exceptions identified.
  3. Advise and consult business process owners on control requirement expectations and related execution across the various payroll and HR workstreams and maintain a strong internal control environment.
  4. Develop and provide ongoing robust compliance training/updates to all levels of Payroll Operations personnel (including VP's). Share standard methodologies and recommend new and more efficient ways to meet our SOX compliance requirements.
  5. Oversight of corrective action plans and driving of closure with payroll management.
  6. Collaborate with various levels of management to drive the standardization of key controls/processes/documentation and keeping management advised of compliance-related risks and opportunities.
  7. Participate and deliver on global payroll compliance projects and/or initiatives (e.g. Global Desktop Procedures, local Standard Operating Procedures, Control Optimization, etc.) in partnership with the Payroll Global Process Leader.
  8. Partner with the extended Global Compliance Team in driving consistency and standardization of controls and processes as it relates to payroll's end state model.
  9. Perform other ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  1. University/bachelor's degree or Equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Advanced Degree preferred, but not required.
  2. Relevant professional certification(s) strongly preferred (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.)
  3. At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  4. At least 2-3 years' experience in financial compliance; external or internal audit roles; internal controls, risk management, business driven processes and methodologies.
  5. Required knowledge: Additional experience working with USGAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley, Section 404. Highly knowledgeable on financial and accounting practices, policies and standards.
  6. Required experience: Additional experience leading or directly supporting complex, multi-national acquisitions, and divestures.
  7. People management experience strongly preferred.
  8. Possesses strong decision-making skills and demonstrates decisiveness, as well as strong influencing and persuasion skills.
  9. Effectively work with new and changing situations.
  10. Competent in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  11. Approximately 10-20% domestic/international travel may be required.
