Job Description: Global Payroll PMO Leader

The successful candidate will lead our Global Payroll PMO team in conducting financial analysis, deploying dashboards, partnering cross-functionally, analyzing project performance, developing policies and procedures, and overseeing operating systems and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage timelines, ensure clear R&R are assigned and oversight for kickoff through go-live (Project tasks and Plan).
  • Prepare a plan document defining the project scope, schedule, project team framework, milestones, and the execution strategy.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans with resource leveling for each deployment.
  • Develop Project Documentations such as Project Charters, Project Kickoffs, Test Plans, Readiness Plans, Project Closure.
  • Develop roll-out plans and oversee deployments into production, including developing hyper-care support plans.
  • Manage system release documents, release notes, and impact to business.
  • Facilitate user workshops, sessions, meetings, and document output and follow-ups.
  • Understand user processes and current operations to provide operational communications and guidelines.
  • Meetings management and communication of minutes.
  • Establish working relationships with Project Stakeholders.
  • Represent Payroll function in various cross-functional meetings, status calls.
  • Collaborate with other Business functions on the Program to integrate with touch points.
  • Follow up and coordinate with assigned project resources.
  • Prepare Status reports and conduct status meetings.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Global, regional, cross-functional project leadership.
  • Be the change agent and ensure change is key in all initiatives driven by defined project teams.
Business Support Development
  • Assist managers with Project Management activity related to major projects like mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or restructuring.
  • Review documentation procedures.
  • Work with managers and Service Center Documentation teams to contribute to ongoing development and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes.
  • May assist Payroll Coordinators with reporting-related duties and provide guidance regarding proper procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Assist managers with day-to-day task planning and special projects.
B usiness Improvement & Alignment
  • Ensure understanding of broader Payroll strategies.
  • Ability to understand future trends and how to incorporate into the Kenvue framework.
  • Review, follow, and provide input to payroll team objectives.
  • Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll processing.
  • Assist in the development, reporting, and review of metrics to drive performance, identify trends, and develop/implement process improvements, escalating issues and proposed solutions as appropriate.
  • Assist managers with capturing and responding to escalated issues, policies, and procedures from government agencies, payroll functions, and operating companies.

  • Communicate regularly with managers, team members, and stakeholders regarding task or project status and opportunities to improve service levels or processes.
  • Promote success and outcome of projects across various stakeholders.
