Johnson & Johnson, a leading healthcare company, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Global Services Payroll Compliance Senior Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial compliance, risk management, and internal controls to drive business success.
Estimated Annual Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 (based on national averages for Colombia)
About the RoleThis senior-level position requires a strong leader who can provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure financial compliance meets global standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of experience in financial compliance, external or internal audit roles, internal controls, risk management, business-driven processes, and methodologies.
The successful candidate will partner closely with global and regional service delivery teams, GS and Business Unit Finance leadership, Global Audit & Assurance (GAA), Controllership, external auditors, and other compliance stakeholders to design and execute the overall compliance strategy across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Lead effective risk management execution through minimization of financial and operational risks associated with the internal control environment within payroll.
- Manage audit support optimally by partnering with business unit finance, internal audit team, and external auditors to ensure control standards are upheld.
- Advise and consult business process owners on control requirement expectations and related execution across various payroll and HR workstreams.
- Develop and provide ongoing robust compliance training/updates to all levels of Payroll Operations personnel.
- Oversight of corrective action plans and driving of closure with payroll management.
- Collaborate with various levels of management to drive standardization of key controls/processes/documentation.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong track record in financial compliance, risk management, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Relevant professional certification(s) such as CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
