Job Description
We are seeking a high energy contributor for a People Services Specialist with superb administrative skills and a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and superior work product to our clientele based out of our Medellin, Colombia office. Your primary responsibilities will be to help support our rapidly growing employee base and help champion employees and managers with all things people related ensuring our global employees have an excellent employee experience at J.S. Held. We are a company focused on learning and development and are continually looking to attract and retain top talent who are creative, self-motivated, and organized.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with employee's full life cycle from hire to retire.
- Execution of transactional core people operations, including but not limited to onboarding, new-hire orientations, terminations, exit surveys, and employee and contractor life cycle tasks.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our HRIS system and workflows, including data entry and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide dedicated and effective HR advisory services to employees with general inquiries (Tier 1 support).
- Triage HR inquiries to initiate and track internal process steps based on requests.
- Track data, consolidate employee responses, and follow up with the HR team as needed to obtain information and identify insights.
- Understand our business and stay up to date with trends and best practices to optimize processes.
- Create and distribute HR communication to the organization.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to support key HR initiatives and projects.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- C1 or native Level of English.
- This position is required to work at the office for 3 days a week.
- 2+ years of relevant human resources experience.
- Experience with HR Systems and processes.
- Understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high performing environment with shifting priorities.
- High attention to detail and an ownership mindset as it relates to solving employee challenges and issues.
- Honesty, integrity, and strong knowledge of HR principles to ensure all information is handled with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify concerns or objections.
- Must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems and an ability to relate to staff at all levels of the organization.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- High level of proficiency writing in English.
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
