Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyer Assistant to join our team at Emapta Latam. As a Buyer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing and operations functions, ensuring seamless execution of transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing Support:
    • Assist with the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any order-related issues.
    • Communicate with vendors to ensure accurate records and efficient management of transactions.
  • Operations Management:
    • Assist with daily operations, including administrative tasks, data entry, scheduling, and coordinating activities.
    • Serve as a liaison between various departments or between management and staff.
    • Address operational issues or bottlenecks with guidance from higher-level management.
  • Financial Transactions:
    • Verify and process invoices from vendors, ensuring they match purchase orders and receipt records.
    • Verify and process customer invoices, ensuring accurate processing and delivery through QuickBooks and Salesforce.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
    • Ensure that purchasing processes adhere to company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Purchasing and Procurement Skills: Knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in handling purchase orders, invoices, and financial records.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, including order processing and financial tracking.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication with team members, vendors, and management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish proficiency is a must.
