About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join the engineering department of our Global Security Operations Center division. Your role will focus on developing and deploying state-of-the-art cloud security solutions. You will analyze security alerts, conduct threat modeling, and provide risk-based assessments to improve our detection and response capabilities. Part evangelist, you will be a champion of cloud security, educating system owners on potential threats and best practices and contributing to a culture of security awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and operate cloud security solutions used by Amadeus, documenting operational tasks and day-to-day support guides.
  • Optimize solutions to limit false positive alerts and alert fatigue.
  • Produce technical documentation about cloud security solutions set up and operations customized for Amadeus environment.
  • Develop and support use cases within the Factory UC team.
  • Prepare RFP materials for cloud security solutions, developing documents and requirement matrices for suppliers.
  • Develop and support use cases within the Factory UC team.

About the Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with +5 years of experience in the cybersecurity field and in a SOC dealing with defensive topics. They should have the following competencies:

  • CNAPP (CSPM/CWPP/CIEM/DSPM/EASM/IASPM)
  • Native Cloud Provider Security Solution
  • SIEM
  • SOC operations
  • Infrastructure management
  • Security incident definition
