Cloud Security Architect

SOS Trabajo is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and engineering secure cloud solutions and ensuring all security controls and requirements are designed and part of the cloud solution.
Key Responsibilities- Cloud Security Architecture: Assist the cloud security architecture in designing and engineering secure cloud solutions.
- Cloud Security Infrastructure: Assist in designing and engineering cloud security infrastructure and cloud services.
- Cloud Security Policies: Responsible for development and validation of cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Cloud Architecture Strategy: Responsible for development of the cloud architecture strategy, establishing governance, facilitating adoption and execution.
- Emerging Cloud Security Solutions: Research emerging cloud security solutions, assess the relevance and potential value to the organization, and present information to senior management and peers.
- Cloud Security Roadmap: Assist in the development of the cloud security roadmap.
- Cloud Security Capabilities: Embeds cloud security capabilities into organizational-level business requirements and initiatives.
- Center of Excellence Council: Participates in the Center of Excellence Council and ensures cloud security requirements are implemented to all cloud solutions and initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field.
- Experience: 6 (six) years of experience working within Information Technology areas, 2 (two) years of experience working with public cloud platforms, and 4 (four) years of experience working in Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering in a complex technology environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, Microsoft AZ 303, or 304, and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are preferred but not required.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, ability to understand the needs and concerns of business stakeholders and colleagues, and respond promptly and effectively to stakeholder requests.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical acumen, knowledge of Information Security and Information Technology concepts, and ability to write technical instructions using programs and technology.
- Communication Skills: Effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders, ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients, and highly developed written and verbal communications skills.
- Analytical Skills: Stays focused on main issues, prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with timely completion of assignments, collects, researches, and complements data, and synthesizes complex or diverse information.
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, develops alternative solutions.
- Project Management: Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision, self-direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly, and capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality.
- Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge of budget administration, resources allocation, organizations policies, and regulations, and ability to establish, conduct, and track operational processes properly.
- Computer and Technological Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365, experience with data management tools such as Power Pivot, Power BI, among others is desired, and ability to achieve results by providing innovative ways of working with operational and technological considerations.
