About the Role

Bizagi is a global software company that specializes in process automation and digital transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Director to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a cloud strategy that aligns with Bizagi's business objectives.
    • Lead a team of cloud engineers and architects to design and deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Solution Architecture:
    • Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
    • Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and industry best practices.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
    • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration.
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Ensure that our cloud solutions meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
    • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand customer needs and pain points.
    • Continuously improve the customer experience by monitoring and optimizing cloud solutions.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead a team of cloud engineers and architects to design and deploy cloud solutions.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Mentor team members and provide career development opportunities.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors.
    • Stay informed about cloud updates, new features, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design, and implementations.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Extensive experience in technical engineering, architecture, and/or development roles.
  • Extensive experience working in a large IT environment in support of IT service and business processes.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams delivering full stack platform support across data centers and private and public cloud.
  • Containerization and orchestration, Microservices architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a minimum of 3 years leading and developing a globally distributed team.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure automation, instrumentation, and full stack technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps techniques and strategies for both application and infrastructure builds and releases.
  • Expertise in cloud engineering and operations, Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Thought-leader level knowledge in leading large-scale initiatives emphasizing the strategy, design, and development of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud platforms that extend to private and public cloud deployment models with resiliency, risk, and control governance and metrics, incident management, secure systems development lifecycle, vulnerability management, and data protection.
  • Expert experience with cloud management platforms, virtualization strategies, automation and orchestration strategies, public cloud platforms, cloud capacity/performance optimization, and application migrations to a cloud platform with a clear understanding of how an IT organization capitalizes upon technology to enable the business.
  • Experience leading transformational projects related to IT architecture, engineering, operations, security, and digital adoption.
  • Experience leading client-facing business development at a C-suite level, engagement delivery, practice development, and thought leadership.
  • Communicates effectively, anticipates changing business needs, adjusts priorities accordingly, and allocates necessary resources and budget to achieve objectives.
  • Considers stakeholder needs and input as well as best practices and insights from industry trends when making strategic decisions.
  • Strong strategic vision and a track record of successful delivery of business objectives.
  • Knowledge of running a global customer support organization preferable.
  • Spanish an advantage.
