Job Description

The Chief Operations Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our office spaces, fostering a productive and positive work environment for employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of effectively managing office operations and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of our physical office spaces to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Coordinate maintenance and repairs to maintain optimal office condition. Support renovations and construction of new office space.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of cleaning staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluation. Lead by example to foster a culture of excellence, respect, and team collaboration.
  • Vendor and IT Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and supplies. Manage local IT vendors to ensure technology infrastructure meets operational needs and resolves issues promptly.
  • Supply Management: Responsible for procurement and inventory management of office supplies, equipment, and furniture. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or productivity.
  • Employee Experience: Organize and execute employee-related events and incentive trips to enhance team morale and culture. Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to office operations and facilitate a supportive working environment.
  • Project Support: Support internal operational projects as needed, providing logistical and administrative assistance to ensure project success.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally in office management or a similar role
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing staff and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in vendor management and negotiation
  • Experience with IT infrastructure and vendor management is highly desirable
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate employees
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
