Area Sales Manager

Lantor B.V. is a global company that specializes in creating innovative nonwoven solutions for various industries. We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Colombia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market within their assigned territory. They will work closely with Segment Managers to align sales strategies with specific goals and lead sales activities to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the market.
  2. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide support and coaching.
  3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
  4. Align sales activities with segment goals set by the Segment Manager.
  5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prioritizing target accounts and industries with the Segment Manager.
  6. Work with distributors and channel partners to grow sales and ensure effective distribution of Lantor's products.
  7. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
  8. Develop and execute sales plans and initiatives, including promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
  9. Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and report on sales activities and achievements.

Requirements:

  1. Proven sales experience, preferably in the nonwovens or related industries.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  3. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  4. Willingness to travel frequently within your region.
  5. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
