Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Privacy Operations Leader to join our team in LATAM. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of data privacy principles across all areas of our business.

This role requires a deep understanding of data privacy laws and regulations applicable to the adtech industry. You will collaborate closely with senior-level business stakeholders, engineering teams, and system administrators to design and implement data privacy by design and default into existing and future proprietary systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and management of our Data Privacy Program for the Latin American market, working closely with the Global Data Privacy Program Lead and country CEO.
  • Collaborate with Publicis Groupe's Global Data Privacy Office, regional DPOs, and the Global Security Office to ensure alignment between our global cyber security and privacy practices and programs.
  • Serve as a data privacy subject matter expert, focusing on Latin American privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
Activities
  • Conduct regular reviews of our business processes to ensure best practices are followed around personal information handling and use.
  • Deploy and ensure completion of record-keeping obligations under the supervision of the Global Data Privacy Program Lead.
  • Compile status reports of data privacy deliverables for executive leadership.
  • Provide strategic guidance to product/system owners on designing and evaluating privacy and data protection tools and projects.
  • Lead vendor due diligence assessments for all market-specific vendors/partners.
  • Partner with contract owners to ensure contractual obligations are met by vendors in accordance with data privacy laws.
  • Facilitate factual due diligence activities for data privacy impact assessments.
  • Prepare and present clear, accurate, and timely reports on privacy and data protection risks, risk mitigation measures, and compliance activities.
  • Monitor compliance with multiple data protection laws, policies, awareness-raising, training, and audits.
  • Participate in client meetings related to data privacy and protection matters.

We estimate the salary for this position to be $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
