Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the initiation of claims with various insurance providers, ensuring precision and promptness.
  • Gather and document all essential information required for claim submissions to facilitate the legal process.
  • Conduct initial client interviews to collect vital details regarding their cases.
  • Maintain accurate records of client information within the firm's case management system.
  • Draft and dispatch Letters of Representation to pertinent parties, including insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Monitor and document responses to Letters of Representation (LORs) and update case files as necessary.
  • Request and acquire necessary evidence, such as video footage and police reports, to support the case.
  • Organize and maintain records of all collected evidence for easy access by attorneys and paralegals.
  • Follow up on liability assessments with insurance adjusters and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide attorneys with updates on liability status and necessary documentation.
  • Verify insurance policy limits with relevant insurance companies.
  • Document insurance limits accurately in the case management system.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and team members to ensure effective case management.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates on their claims and addressing any inquiries.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proficient in English (C1 - C2 level).
  • Experience in a law firm, particularly in the Personal Injury sector.
  • Knowledge of claim initiation and client intake processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of personal injury law and associated legal procedures.
  • Experience with commonly used case management systems in law firms.
