In this dynamic and rapidly evolving startup atmosphere, the ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the delivery team, which encompasses Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Developers, to systematically test bots that are either fully developed or in various stages of completion. This process will involve crafting test cases and test plans in partnership with the Business Analyst, utilizing a range of testing tools at your disposal. Key Responsibilities

  • Examine specifications (User Stories/Test plans/Test cases) and design documents (PDD's/BRD's/Process maps).
  • Possess familiarity with backend testing (a major component of the role) using various tools to assess backend databases, APIs, etc.
  • Understand User story and documentation structures.
  • Develop Test cases, Test plans, User stories, and bug tickets as necessary.
  • Review and sustain test plans and test cases with the assistance of developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
    • Foster a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, accountability, and quality.
  • Create regression tests, load tests, and stress tests, along with their execution.
  • Maintain automation of your test cases to streamline future testing processes.
  • Document, manage, and track bugs in our applications, prioritizing them through the use of Jira.
  • Think critically beyond the front end, considering negative test cases without delving too deeply into unproductive areas (edge cases/extreme scenarios).
  • Conduct both minor and major tests, including end-to-end testing, providing well-documented feedback for the team.
  • Request test data sets to cover pre-agreed test scenarios and manage this data to ensure its viability at the time of testing.
  • Key technologies you will be testing include Salesforce, UiPath, Workato, Work relay, Web APIs, and CRMs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA tester.
  • A technical background is essential – knowledge of code/software development/Automation frameworks, including both frontend and backend testing.
    • We encourage you to challenge the applications we develop, exploring every possible avenue before deployment.
  • Mid-advanced level familiarity with backend testing and tools.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies such as Test cases, Test plans, Regression testing, Smoke testing, Sanity testing, and end-to-end testing.
    • Ability to comprehend systems, translate specification documents, and convert them into test documentation.
    • Ability to read code logically, ensuring bug tickets contain sufficient detail for developers.
  • Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
    • Capable of raising bug tickets and articulating them clearly and concisely.
    • Understanding how to capture requirements and user stories for development.
  • Experience in an Agile and fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Automation project methodologies is advantageous.
  • Exceptional reporting and presentation skills.
