Position Overview:
Linqia is seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Specialist to design and implement testing strategies that ensure the highest standards of product quality. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating, planning, and managing testing efforts while ensuring that quality issues and defects are effectively identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze functional requirements and technical specifications to create, develop, execute, and automate test cases.
- Ensure all developed features meet quality benchmarks in terms of functionality, performance, stability, security, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to discuss issues, security vulnerabilities, and overall product quality.
- Design and enhance automation scripts using Playwright.
- Identify, monitor, and take responsibility for bugs and feature requests.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our product, understanding its complexities.
- Conduct comprehensive regression testing when issues are resolved.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficient in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing techniques.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
- Proficient with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Rspec, Protractor, TestCafe, WebDriver, etc.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of running automated tests in GitHub Action Runner.
