Position Overview:
Linqia is seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Specialist to design and implement testing protocols, including automated testing, to uphold product excellence. In this role, you will assess, organize, and oversee testing initiatives, ensuring that quality concerns and defects are effectively identified, recorded, monitored, and addressed within the defect management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze functional specifications and technical design documents to strategize, create, execute, and automate test scenarios.
- Confirm that all developed features satisfy quality standards regarding functionality, performance, stability, security, and data integrity.
- Engage with the team regarding issues, security vulnerabilities, and overall product quality.
- Design, create, and enhance automation scripts utilizing Playwright.
- Identify, monitor, and take responsibility for bugs and feature requests.
- Become a subject matter expert on our product, grasping all nuances of our platform.
- Conduct comprehensive regression testing upon resolution of defects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance.
- In-depth understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficient in drafting clear, concise, and thorough test plans and test cases.
- Practical experience with both white box and black box testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of SQL and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
- Proficient with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Rspec, Protractor, TestCafe, WebDriver, etc.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven programming abilities in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of executing automated tests in GitHub Action Runner.
