To support our expansion, we are in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist. In this dynamic and rapidly evolving startup environment, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the delivery team, which encompasses Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Developers, to systematically test bots that are either fully developed or in various phases of completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine specifications (User Stories/Test plans/Test cases) and design documentation (PDD's/BRD's/Process maps).
  • Proficient in backend testing (a significant aspect of the role) utilizing various tools to assess backend databases, APIs, etc.
  • Understand User story and documentation structures.
  • Develop Test cases, Test plans, User stories, and bug tickets as necessary.
  • Review and update test plans and test cases in collaboration with developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
    • Foster a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, accountability, and quality.
  • Create regression tests, load tests, and stress tests, along with their execution.
  • Prioritize automation of test cases to enhance future testing efficiency.
  • Document, manage, and track bugs in our applications, prioritizing them through Jira.
  • Employ critical thinking to identify negative test cases without delving into irrelevant details (edge cases/extreme scenarios).
  • Conduct comprehensive tests, including end-to-end testing, providing well-documented feedback for the team.
  • Request and manage test data sets to ensure they remain viable for testing scenarios.
  • Key technologies for testing include Salesforce, UiPath, Workato, Work relay, Web APIs, and CRMs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA tester.
  • A technical background is essential – familiarity with code/software development/Automation frameworks, encompassing both frontend and backend testing.
    • We encourage you to rigorously evaluate the applications we develop to explore all potential issues before deployment.
  • Mid-advanced level expertise in backend testing and tools.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies such as Test cases, Test plans, Regression testing, Smoke testing, Sanity testing, and end-to-end testing.
    • Ability to comprehend systems, interpret specification documents, and convert them into test documentation.
    • Capable of reading code logically to ensure bug tickets are detailed enough for developers.
  • Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
    • Proficient in raising bug tickets and articulating them clearly and concisely.
    • Understanding of how to capture requirements and user stories for development.
  • Experience in an Agile, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Automation project methodologies is a plus.
  • Exceptional reporting and presentation skills.
