Head of People Strategy for LATAM

As the Director of People Strategy for LATAM, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our human resources initiatives across the organization. This position requires close collaboration with senior leadership and industry partners to ensure that our HR strategies align seamlessly with business objectives, fostering a culture of engagement, innovation, and inclusivity. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports organizational growth while enhancing talent development and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate and execute a robust HR strategy that aligns with the organization’s growth objectives and promotes talent development.
• Lead a team of HR professionals in LATAM, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure HR initiatives are in sync with business goals, offering insights to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Work alongside global HR teams to design and implement localized people solutions.
• Drive initiatives focused on employee development, performance management, and succession planning to enhance team capabilities.
• Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, creating a workplace culture that values diverse perspectives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, managing potential risks associated with HR practices.
• Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously refine HR strategies.
• Act as a strategic partner to the LATAM leadership team, providing coaching and support to executive leaders.
• Collaborate with various teams to support and guide People Managers in engaging their teams and enhancing overall employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English; Portuguese language skills are a plus.
• Extensive experience managing HR operations in Latin America, with a focus on global HR collaboration.
• Proven track record in delivering HR programs, balancing local and global initiatives effectively.
• Experience in post-acquisition integration from both strategic and operational perspectives.
• Successful background in a global, matrixed organization.
• Expertise in collaborating with strategy teams to design and implement HR programs.
• Ability to navigate conflicting priorities while achieving exceptional results.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a commitment to innovative working practices.
• Strong understanding of diverse personalities and behavioral styles to foster effective collaboration.
