Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled District Manager to join our team at Adidas in Medellin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving store performance and ensuring operational excellence across our district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce shrink and improve inventory management
  • Collaborate with Store Operations and Merchandising teams to drive business results
  • Review and analyze weekly store reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Work with Merchandising to identify opportunities for store-to-store transfers and optimize inventory levels
  • Lead loss prevention efforts and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Ensure store appearance meets regional guidelines and standards
  • Support Store Managers in operational and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate the procurement of consumables and other necessary materials
  • Assist with staffing and talent development for Store Managers
  • Lead and motivate Own Retail employees and Store Managers
  • Develop and implement training programs for store personnel
  • Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports to drive performance improvement
  • Contribute to the development of accurate forecasts and operational plans
  • Monitor and achieve operational retail targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Track and analyze Net Sales, Operational markdowns, cycle counts, stock takes, shrinkage, and inventory accuracy

Key Relationships:

  • Develop strong relationships with DTC Leaders, Store Leaders, Store Employees, HR Partners, FLM Colombia, Marketing, and Finance teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations and management
  • Proven track record of driving business results and improving store performance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
