Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join our team at Emapta Latam. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting tasks, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing invoicing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities- Accounting and Financial Reporting: Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Invoicing and Collections: Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner, track and manage outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payments.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records, and accurately input financial data into accounting software.
- Tax Preparation and Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and filing, and ensure adherence to financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
- Skills: Deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
