About the Role

Sapiens is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist to join our team in Colombia. As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering technical services to our customers worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to implement the Tia Solution for new customers, optimize and upgrade paths for existing customers, and implement Tia's Best Practices. You will also ensure customer use and adherence to the standard business processes that come with the Tia Solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new functionalities / fix defects (code / configuration).
  • Develop new solutions.
  • Do technical analysis, summarize, and present findings.
  • Prepare and present technical solution designs.
  • Participate or lead technical product and skills workshops.
  • Review requirements and technical design along with QA of set-up, design, architecture, and infrastructure.
  • Optimize performance.
  • Contribute to requirements documents, validate requirements received, and proactively suggest different alternatives.
  • Prepare technical design/configuration documents.
  • Conduct technical workshops.
  • Prepare and deliver technical TIA trainings.
  • Build solution based on TIA core functionality and best practices.
  • Proactively communicate with the customer, leads, managers, analysis, and testing teams (up to project team structure).
  • Coach and mentor more junior team members, through workshops and peer reviews.
  • Contribute to TIA implementation templates, frameworks, tools, and support TIA PS Centre of Excellence.
  • Provide support throughout the project lifecycle (Design, execution, SIT, UAT, go-live activities as well as application maintenance when/if applicable).

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Oracle PLSQL developer or 2+ years of experience with TIA solution.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated experience of implementing technical solutions/changes.
  • Ability to translate Your technical knowledge into useful, structured, practical advice.
  • Analytical skills.
