Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Global Medical Director to lead our medical department in Cluster North. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing medical strategies, providing strategic input to commercial plans, and ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
Responsibilities- Lead affiliate medical department and develop medical strategies in collaboration with Regional Medical Affairs Head
- Provide strategic input to affiliate commercial plans and ensure alignment with global strategic plans
- Manage budget and headcount resources for the affiliate medical department
- Conduct local research activities in a scientific, efficient, and compliant manner
- Develop One R&D culture and collaborate with CSM teams on ongoing trials
- Accountable for pharmacovigilance system within the affiliate and ensure compliance with local regulations
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- MEDICAL DEGREE (or equivalent scientific background)
- Strong background in clinical practice and relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
- 5+ years of management experience of medical teams and significant numbers of medical/scientific staff
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead interdisciplinary scientific teams and manage complex projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
