Job Summary

">

We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our affiliate medical department in Cluster North. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting and executing medical affairs strategies to ensure alignment with global plans.

">

You will oversee the structure and performance of the affiliate pharmacovigilance system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and high patient safety standards.

">

In addition, you will instill and operate within a culture of ethical and compliant behavior, ensuring local medical staffing levels meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the affiliate medical department, providing strategic direction and mentorship to direct reports.">
  • Ensure alignment with global medical affairs plans and local commercial objectives.">
  • Oversee the pharmacovigilance system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and high patient safety standards.">
  • Mentor and develop high-potential employees, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.">
  • Plan and manage the affiliate medical department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic medical affairs support.">
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with external experts and academic centers.">
  • Serve as the primary contact for medical governance requirements, ensuring compliance with all training requirements.">
  • Provide leadership and analytical measurement approach to drive optimal medical affairs performance.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs or a related field.">
  • Proven track record of leading medical teams and managing budgets.">
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams.">
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.">
  • Strong understanding of drug development and commercialization processes.">
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.">

Education

A medical degree (or equivalent scientific background) is required.

Salary

">

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location

This role is based in Cluster North, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.
