Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a premier provider of comprehensive transportation solutions for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a robust fleet of over 45,000 tank containers, STC operates through a global network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the electronic processing of supplier invoices for STC Colombia using our internal systems.
- Accurately record incoming cash receipts.
- Prepare specific balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journal entries as required.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements for STC Colombia, including variance analysis.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns, withholding tax, industry commerce tax, and other statutory filings for STC Colombia.
- Collaborate in the preparation of the annual income tax return alongside the Accounting Manager and local tax advisors.
- Facilitate internal audits by providing necessary documentation and serving as a liaison with local staff during operational audits.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of general accounting experience, ideally within a multinational or industry-specific environment.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experienced in using ERP Systems (Oracle preferred) and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
