Supply Chain Expediting Coordinator

Position Overview: The Expediting Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the timely delivery of Materials & Services, Inventory, and Asset orders. This position is vital for ensuring that orders are monitored effectively throughout the entire Demand to Deliver lifecycle, from initial requisition to final delivery at the designated location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee timely delivery for all relevant orders (Materials & Services, Inventory, Assets).
- Proactively identify and escalate issues related to orders in critical status, ensuring necessary actions are taken to advance these orders.
- Manage the expediting process from requisition initiation to delivery at the specified location.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track order status and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Cancel purchase orders in the relevant systems after consulting with internal and external suppliers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all supply chain systems and monitor order status using internal tracking tools.
- Notify relevant stakeholders of any potential concerns or delays in order fulfillment.
- Oversee the Goods Receipt process and ensure follow-up on orders approaching their due date.
- Assist in resolving issues related to Document-Flow-Management and other accounts payable matters.
- Communicate order status updates to internal teams effectively.
- Regularly review and clean up open order reports.
- Compile and update expediting reports by supplier, product line, and location as necessary.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in investigations led by the SRE Efficiency team.
- Recommend process documentation changes or improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor deviations and report non-conformance as needed.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, as well as company policies and guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in English (B1 - B2 level).
- Strong skills in Excel.
- Experience in Data Analytics.
