Position Overview: The Expediting Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the timely delivery of M&S, Inventory, and Assets orders. This position involves proactive management of orders throughout the Demand to Deliver lifecycle, ensuring that supply hubs provide efficient and reliable service for SLB operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee on-time delivery for all relevant orders (M&S, Inventory, Assets).
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues to stakeholders regarding orders in critical status, ensuring necessary actions are taken.
  • Manage the expediting process from requisition initiation to delivery at the designated location.
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track order status and ensure timely completion.
  • Cancel purchase orders in SLB systems after consulting with both internal and external suppliers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all supply chain systems and monitor order status through internal platforms.
  • Notify Product Lines and other stakeholders of any delivery concerns or delays.
  • Follow up on Goods Receipt to ensure compliance with due dates.
  • Assist in resolving Document-Flow-Management (DFM) cases and other accounts payable issues.
  • Communicate order statuses effectively to internal customers.
  • Regularly review and clean up open order reports.
  • Compile and update expediting reports by supplier, product line, and location as needed.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in SQ investigations led by the SRE Efficiency team.
  • Recommend documentation changes or process improvements to the SRE Efficiency team as necessary.
  • Track deviations and report non-conformance in the QUEST system.
  • Adhere to HSE standards, TCC guidelines, the Code of Ethics, Gift Policy, and the Schlumberger Financial Manual.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in English (B1 - B2), strong skills in Excel, and a background in Data Analytics are essential for this role.
