Are you a skilled Java developer passionate about problem-solving and customer support? We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an L2 Technical Support Consultant at SupportYourApp, a leading Support-as-a-Service company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technology and provide L2 support to customers, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  2. Develop and maintain backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB.
  3. Gather data to ensure the required technical information is collected to resolve even more complex tickets.
  4. Ensure customers' satisfaction with any interaction.
  5. Maintain working knowledge of our client's products and services.
  6. Securely work with customers' sensitive information.
  7. Communicate with developers and other departments of various IT companies to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent English communication skills (at least C1 for both spoken and written).
  2. Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB.
  3. Good understanding of on-premise IT infrastructure, load balancers, queues, and clustering.
  4. Positive, friendly, enthusiastic, pragmatic, and caring attitude with a can-do approach.
  5. Personal laptop or computer (at least 8Gb of RAM) and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps–download and 40 Mbps–upload).

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Kafka, Groovy, and container environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
  2. Knowledge of performance tuning techniques.
  3. Understanding of financial sector derivatives.
