Key Responsibilities
- Support the local leadership in ensuring the effective implementation of the Ethics, Risks & Compliance / Risk / Business Continuity Management & Novartis Emergency Management / Third Party Risk Management Program.
- Manage senior stakeholders and representatives of other functions, including internal audit, BPO, legal, and political custodians.
- Provide strategic guidance to ERC managers, executives, country president, and support local implementation activities using existing tools.
- Enhance team capabilities by providing training and conducting country visits.
- Improve the onboarding of key leaders and optimize the objectives set up and the performance management process.
- Develop and update materials and support tools related to Ethics, Risks & Compliance / Risk / Business Continuity Management & Novartis Emergency Management / Third Party Risk Management Program.
- Offer compliance advice to the country president and other stakeholders across divisions.
- Support the design of an effective framework for anti-bribery / TPG and ensure a robust implementation.
- Review and refine the Anti-Bribery / TPG strategy, policy, process, and systems.
- Develop practical tools to support the implementation of the anti-bribery framework across divisions and create presentations regarding the anti-bribery/TPG framework at senior management.
- Provide strategic support and manage/contribute to various compliance topics.
- Notify technical issues / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.
- Meet graduation requirements.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in the ERC (Ethics, Risks & Compliance) area is necessary.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
- Desirable knowledge about the Colombian health market is beneficial.
