Role OverviewThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in Law, Business, Compliance, and/or Risk Management seeking to thrive in a rapidly growing company in the high-growth information services sector.
Compliance and Protection is the critical function of Dialectica; aiming to ensure our clients can securely, compliantly, and safely access our unique knowledge sources.
The Compliance and Protection Team manages a variety of challenging tasks, such as monitoring ongoing projects, policy drafting, training, product development, and risk assessment.
As a Compliance and Innovation Manager, you will facilitate client requests, update, and draft new policies, oversee their implementation, and ensure Dialectica's employees across all offices work towards creating a safe and compliant environment for our clients.
Impact and Responsibilities:
Monitor active projects to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Advise the company and implement appropriate strategies for all areas of responsibilities.
Collaborate with the heads of assigned accounts and corporate functions to define compliance objectives and requirements, providing compliance analysis and advice.
Interact with clients, including in-house counsel and compliance officers and lead compliance calls.Identify training needs and organize the development and implementation of training programs for the Compliance and Protection team members Escalate compliance-related issues to Senior Management; Gather feedback from senior stakeholders and provide input considering business needs Design compliance and/or legal strategies and initiatives, creating the culture and operational model of compliance and legal (e.g., cost-cutting initiatives, reduce time for project review/response rate, reinforce service agreements, increase network); Ensure the team operates effectively to meet compliance and/or legal organizational objectives.
Coach, inspire, and set the communication chain between management and team.
Drive compliance and/or legal best practices within the team.
Requirements Undergraduate Degree and Master's Degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, or other related fields Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related fields such as risk management, law, or compliance an asset Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills Proactive, combining attention to detail with strategic thinking Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills Professional ethics and integrity with attention to detail Committed to improving internal quality standards Fluency in English, both verbal and written (additional language an asset) Proficient use of MS Office and Google suite BenefitsWe offer a competitive remuneration package where you'll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
