About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Anthology Inc. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new opportunities for our sales teams to pursue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new demand for the sales organization through qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and contact potential customers through cold calls and emails.
- Qualify demand against established criteria and pass qualified leads to sales.
- Research and build out additional personas or members of a buying group involved in the buying decision and share this with sales.
- Nurture predetermined groups of prospects back from sales using multiple touch tactics.
- Comply with all demand management-related service-level agreements.
- Report on agreed metrics, providing accurate weekly forecasts on the volume of qualified demand and progressing toward established service-level agreements and performance metrics.
- Track and manage prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in our CRM.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and Account Executives.
- Stay updated with Anthology's products and services.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of sales experience.
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and ABM (e.g. 6Sense).
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Strong knowledge of digital selling strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong process orientation and data analysis experience.
- Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above.
