Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team at Somewhere. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships.
Salary Range:
$1500-$1800 per month (dependent on performance and assessment)
Job Description:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads from our database of trial users and past clients to uncover new business opportunities;
- Working closely with the sales team to book demos and ensure smooth transitions;
- Providing daily chat and phone support to address customer inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service;
- Staying up-to-date on our product offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate value to prospects and customers.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma;
- At least 2 years of experience in sales development and/or customer development;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor;
- Strong ability to identify, qualify, and nurture leads;
- Experience working with CRM software and support tools like HubSpot or Intercom.
Bonus Points:
If you have experience working in a SaaS or tech company, managing outbound sales and inbound customer support tasks, and can work independently with minimal supervision, that's a huge plus
