About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multilingual Technical Support Specialist to join our team at DreamHost, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance to our customers who are experiencing problems with our services or have questions about how to use them.

Your primary goal will be to resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner, using your quick thinking and troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve complex problems via internal ticket system, live chat & call-backs.

You will also be responsible for answering customer inquiries by applying your knowledge of web hosting principles, DreamHost products and services. You will need to patiently guide customers through diagnostic procedures to help them identify the source of their issues.

Additionally, you will notice trends and/or internal issues and report them to management for resolution. You will also guide customers through the installation and configuration of various software, escalate complex problems to appropriate staff member or department, and help customers identify and resolve problems with products by phone, email & live chat.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to customers via internal ticket system, live chat & call-backs
  • Analyze and resolve complex customer issues using troubleshooting skills
  • Answer customer inquiries by applying knowledge of web hosting principles, DreamHost products and services
  • Guide customers through diagnostic procedures to identify the source of their issues
  • Notice trends and/or internal issues and report them to management for resolution
  • Escalate complex problems to appropriate staff member or department
  • Help customers identify and resolve problems with products by phone, email & live chat
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of technical support experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science related field of study (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish
  • Reliable, fast internet connection
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
