Job Purpose:
The District Manager will be responsible for supporting the DM in monitoring store performance, ensuring company targets are met, and assisting Store Managers with operational and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly visit assigned districts and stores to monitor performance and provide support.
- Manage shrink and inventory levels to minimize losses.
- Act as an intermediary between stores and Store Operations/Merchandising teams.
- Collect and review weekly store reports from Store Managers.
- Support Merchandising in identifying opportunities for store-to-store transfers.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and ensure store appearance meets regional guidelines.
- Support Store Managers with operational and administrative tasks, including staffing and employee management.
- Coordinate consumables and materials for stores.
- Provide feedback to direct reports and foster their performance development.
- Contribute to store forecasting and operational retail target achievement.
- Monitor Net Sales and Operational markdowns.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize shrinkage.
